KIPLING TRAIL

The Kipling Trail is essentially the old foot route between Dehradun and Mussoorie and is named so since Rudyard Kipling once walked on this path, writing fondly about Rajpur, the quaint locality from where our trail begins. The 3-km long hike takes one through steep gradients, easy paths, views of an old tunnel and panoramic views of the Doon Valley that offer something new at every turn. The trail is still popular with the local villagers who prefer to walk between Dehradun and Mussoorie!
